Chris Burke has been studying martial arts for over 25 years. In 1989, he was accepted as a student of Jason Lau, one of the most respected Wing Chun instructors in the world. After three years of training, he was selected as a disciple of Sifu Lau, eligible to learn advanced techniques and to teach within the school. He became an instructor under Sifu Lau and eventually became the school’s chief instructor. He has been teaching Wing Chun since 1992. In 2004, he established Lau Yat Wing Chun Academy in Woodstock, Georgia.
